One Year Later  http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/2009/09/one_year_after_hurricane_ike.html

Hi All and Happy Fall Season,
As we're in the mist of working on Fall and Halloween Orders--I'm reminded of the crazy year last year that we had---a Hurricane, a Move, and an Economic Storm!!!! I saw this picture on boston.com and it reminded me of our Studio Roof damage resulting in our move to this wonderful old House in the Country.

One Year Later after Ike and we hadn't even known about the Economic Meltdown since the news was all about the Hurricane. We missed the whole week of Economic News-Whooeeey when we finally heard!!!!

Take a look at the pictures--it was a year to remember and one I'll never forget and one I'll THANK ALL for our GREAT CUSTOMERS for your understanding!!! Peace Be With All!

Rose and Sienna

eProductSales Hurricane Ike and Moving our Studio

undefined
Hurricane Ike (play /ˈk/) was the costliest hurricane ever to impact Cuba, the second-costliest hurricane ever to make landfall in the United States, the second most active hurricane to reach the Canadian mainland (as a tropical storm) in the Great Lakes Region after Hurricane Hazel in 1954, and the last hurricane to make landfall in the United States until Hurricane Irene in 2011..........Wiki......  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hurricane_Ike

It's been ages since we've been able to add to our Journal--Starting in August we start to get tunnel vision, and are busy making Wings for the Holidays. As many of you know, Hurricane Ike hit our shores, and devastated many homes and businesses along the Gulf Coast. We lost power for weeks, and couldn't run any of our equipment. No food, however blissfully there was water. Everyone is still working on re-building homes and businesses. FEMA is extending deadlines and offering support months after the storm, for people who need help. It's crazy and a whirlwind down here, but people are working together to get the Coastal Cities back in shape!

So, during this Hurricane Season and Halloween we've been in the process of moving our Studio due to Damages from Hurricane Ike. We have had many kind Customers, willing to work with us through this time--and we thank them greatly. It has been crazy, it's to the point now, that you just sit back take a deep breath and be Very Thankful for what you have. :)

Our New Studio is a beautiful old house, which we are hoping to restore. That means lots of work, elbow grease for cleaning, flooring, and painting. It will be fun, and we will enjoy it. Things are looking up, and we are hoping to update more on Blogger, DA , twitter as well as work on New Designs for this upcoming season. So keep an eye out for our new work, and feel free to send a note or conversation if you are wanting to just say hello. :)

Thank you all so much, we really appreciate it!
